Getting Started
With Descript, live recordings are transcribed in real-time and you can organize takes and make edits as you go so when you walk out of the recording session, you have a finished product that publish-ready. When a speaker gets tongue-tied, or if the speaker mispronounces a word, you can delete it from the transcript as you are recording, no need to hit pause or stop the recording! All edits are non-destructive, so if you prefer a take that you removed, you can recover it easily. Alternatively, you can use Descript's Ignore feature to remove the audio, but keep the text visible in the script, in case you want to restore the audio.
