Overview

Descript helps you compile your highlights quickly and easily with the Copy Highlights feature. After you've gone through your composition and highlighted your favorite bits, you can click the ellipsis next to the composition's name and select Copy Highlights. 

From here you can create a new composition and paste all of the highlights from the prior composition.

FAQ

I've Highlighted my composition with multiple colors, can I just copy one color of my Highlights?

Yes! When clicking the ellipsis next to the composition name and selecting Copy Highlights, you'll see an option for each color Highlight or an option to select All Highlights

Is there a Keyboard Shortcut for Highlights?

Yes! For MacOS the shortcut is Cmd + Shift + H and for Windows it is Ctrl + Shift + H. You can find out more about Keyboard Shortcuts here: Keyboard Shortcuts Article
