For eligible individuals and organizations, Descript offers its Education / Non-profit Organization plan for $5 / user / month. This plan includes the same plan-level features of our Creator plan with a 4-hour monthly transcription rate limit.
While this plan offers our lowest monthly subscription price, one of our standard plans may be a better fit depending on how much transcription you're doing. See our pricing page for details.

Education
Students, and representatives of accredited educational institutions (teachers, administrators, etc.) are welcome to apply.
Does Descript offer Pro-level features with a NP / EDU discount?
Descript currently only offers a discount with the plan-level features of our Creator plan. For more details on what features are available please see the Creator plan details on our pricing page.
Users interested in the Pro plan have the option to upgrade to Pro, however no discounts are available at this time.
