Exporting a transcript as Text

To export your transcript, click the Share button in the top-right corner of the app, then click the Export tab. The bottom section of the panel that appears will display your export options:

This exports your transcript as a Microsoft Word (.docx) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) document.

  • By default the document will display timestamps at 60-second intervals, you can change this to whatever frequency you’d like, or to omit timestamps entirely.
  • You can also opt to automatically apply timestamps at paragraph breaks, speaker labels, and markers.
  • If you need to manually adjust your timecode start time, you can click the Timecode offset box and specify your offset settings.
